The photographs reproduced below were taken over the weekend of 5th-7th May 2007 at the
Haxby and Wigginton Scarecrow Festival, organised by the Methodist Church.

The 2008 Haxby & Wigginton Scarecrow Festival will be held over the weekend of 3rd - 5th May, raising funds for the Haxby and Wigginton Youth & Community Centre and Christian Aid. Opening times are as follows: Saturday 3rd May 10:30am to 6:30pm. Sunday 4th May 1:30pm until 6:00pm and on Monday 5th May 10:30am until 6:30pm.

Trails cost £1.00 per trail and will be on sale from the Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church on each of the above dates until 4:30pm. Refreshments and light lunches will be served in the Methodist Church Hall and there will be children's activities throughout the day.
