MUKER, SWALEDALE

The tiny village of Muker is situated in Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales. Popular with tourists during the summer, the main local industry is farming and the area is famous for 'Swaledale' sheep, with their distinctive black heads. The Muker Show is a very popular event where local produce and crafts are judged and is held every September.
