There
have been countless books published containing many excellent
photographs of steam railways around Yorkshire but when I was offered
the opportunity to display a small collection of previously unpublished
images from a colleagues private collection I could not resist. The
following images depict the steam railways around Wakefield from a
locoman's perspective and were submitted by John McTigue. If you can
